Specially formulated to be environmentally and user safe, Dicor Water Based Acrylic Bonding Adhesive can remain open longer during installation. It provides excellent coverage and is easy to apply from either a 1 gallon pail. The bonding agent is designed for use on moisture-absorbent substrates — not on metal or fiberglass. Also, it should not be used to bond rubber to rubber.

The water based bonding agent is part of Dicor’s three-part roofing system that includes the roofing membrane, bonding adhesive and lap sealant.

Dicor has secured the best combination of products to make installation of a new roof covering as easy and reliable as possible, thereby enhancing RV enjoyment. Each component in the kit is formulated, tested and proven in the field to create an excellent bond. By using this Water Based Bonding Adhesive as part of the installation system — according to the instructions provided — for Dicor EDPM and TPO installation, Dicor will warrant that aftermarket product for 12 years.

This material is to be used on porous substrates only. Stir thoroughly before use and keep covered when not in use.

Surface Preparation: Clean, dry surfaces are required for optimum bond strength.

Application Methods: Apply adhesive evenly at a rate of one gallon for every 160-180 square feet to the substance by short nap roller.

Open Time: EPDM Rubber and TPO membranes should be immediately rolled onto the adhesive. No waiting time is necessary. Care should be taken to minimize the air trapped between substrates.

Bonding: Mate the surfaces with only enough pressure, evenly applied, to insure good contact between the substrates. Excessive pressure can redistribute the adhesive in an uneven manner.

Empty containers: When “empty” this package may contain harmful vapor and residue. Do not reuse container or remove labels. Follow label warning even “empty”. Disposal should be in accordance with applicable regulations.

Keep From Freezing. Store products at 50° F to 60° F for maximum storage life. Do not store below 40° F.

This product is NOT intended for seaming rubber to rubber or adhering rubber to metal, fiberglass or plastic surfaces.

Precautions: Vapors are heavier than air. Prevent build-up of vapors. Open all windows and doors. Use only with cross ventilation. Avoid prolonged exposure to the vapors.

Health Hazard Information:

Skin: This product may cause skin irritation upon repeated contact.

Eyes: If splashed into eyes, may cause irritation. Untreated, may cause caustic burns.

Inhalation: Overexposure to high vapor concentration in poorly ventilated areas may cause headaches, nausea and irritation to the nose and throat.

First Aid Information:

Skin: Wash with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.

Eyes: Flush eyes with clean water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, administer CPR. Get medical attention.

Ingestion: Induce vomiting by giving syrup of Ipecac or by touching finger to back of throat.

In case of fire or spill: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Ventilate area and absorb with absorbant material.
