The UIB 64 is a universal ignitor board specialized to work in Atwood’s® AC/Gas water heaters with 4 + 6 header pin or edge style connectors, or with the single 10 pin connector used in Atwood's® latest models. By resetting the jumpers it can function like a UIB S ignitor board so it can be configured to replace standard DSI ignitor boards that use a single 6 position connector found in older water heaters, refrigerators and furnaces.

Universal Ignitor Boards are for use in Furnaces, Refrigerators & Water Heaters. The UIB series boards come ready for use in Furnaces or a jumper on the board can be cut to make the board instant fire for use in Refrigerators or Water heaters. These universal 12 Volt DC ignitor boards are certified by Testing Engineers International to meet UL 372 and UL 353 specifications for use in the RV industry. The universal ignitor boards are all "electrically" identical but "mechanically" different for convenient installation

Removable jumper for Instant fire operation in water heaters and refrigerators
Superior Construction - "Plated and soldered through holes" to virtually eliminate intermittent connections.
3 Try - Tries 3 times to ignite gas, with appropriate purge cycles before going into lockout.
Shuts the fan motor OFF a minute and a half after the 3rd ignition try fails to sense a flame
Waits one hour and tries the cycle again before locking out requiring the thermostat to be reset.
Microcontroller - Highly reliable microcontroller for accurate and stable operation.
Diagnostic LEDs - UIB Series Igntior boards all have diagnostic LEDs to aid in troubleshooting
Fuse protection - Replaceable 5 Amp automotive fuse to protect the board from short circuits on the Valve and NC terminals

Propane is an explosive gas! Ignitor boards should be installed by trained service technicians. This UIB 64 requires proper configuration to prevent undesirable behavior. You must read the instructions to configure the board properly for your application.
